Range: South East Asia, Western Islands of Indonesia
Habitat: Rainforest
Diet: Fruit, insects, birds, eggs, and small animals
Fun Facts:
  • Despite their usual slow movements, they are capable of moving faster, especially when disturbed or in search of food.
  • Their thumb and big toe are perpendicular to other digits, giving them great gripping power.
  • Their saliva is toxic. Mothers will spread their saliva on their infants to deter predators.
