  • Diana monkeys live in groups of 5-50 individuals!
  • They spend the majority of their time in the middle to upper strata of forest!
  • The average life span is about 34 years!
  • The name 'Diana' comes from Greek mythology!   Diana was a goddess of the moon and of the hunt.  The white crescent on the forehead represents the moon and the stripe on the thigh represents the archer's bow (Como Docent Association).
  • Man is the greatest enemy of the Diana monkey!
