Range: Central Australia
Habitat: Arid woodland regions
Diet: Insects, small vertebrates, fruits, leaves, and flowers 
Fun Facts:
  • When there is a lack of food, they may bury themselves and remain dormant until extreme conditions pass.  
  • When intimidated, they will flatten their bodies, puff their chin and open their mouths. 
  • Their color may lighten or darken depending on mood, or surroundings.
