Animals - Zoo Central
A walk through Zoo Central launches every visit to the Lake Superior Zoo. Zoo Central houses all the services needed for an enjoyable zoo visit including the Tiger's Paw Gift Shop, the Safari Café, restrooms, and first-aid.
Zoo Central is also home to a wide variety of animals and educational displays. Red Ruffed Lemurs are the stars of this show. They live in a beautifully muralled two story exhibit in the heart of Zoo Central. The Onsgard room, Zoo Lab and the Griggs Learning Center are home to some of our smaller furry, feathered and scaly friends. Blue and Gold Macaws, Guinea Pigs, Corn Snake, and Chinchillas are just a few of the many wonderful little creatures you'll find in Zoo Central.
