Lake Superior Zoo Chapter of the AAZK

The Lake Superior Zoo Chapter of the AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers) is currently looking into polar bear, bat, frog and rhino conservation efforts. We are also involved in the LSZoo "Green Team" with a goal of educating the public on how we can lessen our impact on the Earth. Help us help the planet by participating in a Behind the Scenes Tour or an Animal Training Session!

Behind the Scenes Tour - $50/person
Themes: Big Cats or Polar Shores
Tour Includes: A building and kitchen tour, guest's choice of a training session (view a session) or enrichment (pick or make a toy and watch animal play) and a digital commemorative photo. A tour lasts about one hour, with a maximum of five people who are five years of age or older.

Training Session - $25/person
Animals: Brown bear, lynx, snow leopard, lions, polar bear and Amur tigers
Session Includes:  Viewing of a 30-minute training session with one of the animals listed above and a digital commemorative photo.
