Directions to by-pass I35 construction

From Cloquet and points south (including Twin Cities):
Take I-35 North to the Midway Road exit. Take a right at the bottom of the ramp. Follow this road (becomes Beck's Road) follow this until it reaches the T. Take a left onto Hwy. 23/Grand Ave. and continue until 71st Ave. W. Go left and that takes you into our free parking lot.
From the Iron Range:
Take Hwy 53 south to Midway Road and go right. Follow Midway Road (past Hwy. 2, past I-35, becomes Beck's Road) until it reaches the T. Take a left onto Hwy. 23/Grand Ave. and continue to S. 71st Ave. W. Go left into our free parking lot.
From Wisconsin:
Follow hwy 2 across the Bong Bridge to Grand Avenue. Take a left onto Grand Avenue. Take a right at 71st avenue west. Stay left into our free parking lot.
From the East Side, Canal Park, Downtown and North Shore:
Take Superior Street through the downtown until it becomes Michigan Street. Take Michigan Street until it emerges in to Superior Street again. Follow Superior Street past 29th Avenue West and take a right onto Carlton Street. Take a left onto Grand Avenue. Follow Grand Avenue until you reach 71st Avenue West. Take a right on 71st Avenue West and stay left into our free parking lot.
From the Miller Hill Mall:
From Hwy 53, take Haines Road (just south of Duluth Dodge) south until it becomes 40th Avenue West which winds down the hill. Turn right onto Grand Avenue. Turn right onto 71st Avenue West. Stay left into our free parking lot.

I-35S to Grand Ave., Hwy. 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance.
Coming from Superior
Hwy 2 going over Blatnik Bridge, take I-35S to Grand Ave./Hwy 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance
Off Belknap going over Bong Bridge, take I-35S to Grand Ave./Hwy. 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance
Coming from Minneapolis
I-35N take Cody St exit, turn right on 63rd St. to Grand Avenue, then turn right at 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance
Coming from the Range
- Hwy 53 turns into Central Entrance to Mesabi Ave. and turn right to I-35 S. Follow to Grand Ave./Hwy 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance
- Hwy 53 to Trinity Rd. exit (by Perkins) and follow I-35 signs. Trinity Rd. to Piedmont Ave. turn left to I-35S to Grand Ave./Hwy. 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo entrance
- Non-freeway-Hwy 53 to Stebner Rd. turn right and follow to 59th Ave. W. Turn right on 59th and follow to Grand Ave. then turn right to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance
Coming from North Shore
Hwy 61 S to I-35S to Grand Ave./Hwy 23 Exit (left hand exit) to 72nd Ave. W. Zoo Entrance |
