Our focus for 2011-2012 is “Solar Matters.”
We will be taking a Voyage from the Sun, an interactive series of classes that teaches students about the adaptations that allow plants and animals to use and conserve energy.  Students will examine how they use energy, where it comes from and how human impact on natural habitats affects the natural energy flow.  Voyage from the Sun is a Wildlife Conservation Society curriculum designed to build bridges between biology, the physical sciences, math, and language arts.
Rates:  $13 members / $15 non-members
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

All classes are from 1-3 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, September through March.
